Avengers: Doomsday

Following the acclaimed Marvel story down its wide and gaping rabbit hole will land you at the studio’s latest action adventure: Avengers: Doomsday. The death of beloved Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man was a heartbreak to most and many were to believe that was the last we’d see of the beloved character on the big screen. But alas, Kevin Feige and the Russo brothers shocked everyone at Comic Con in July announcing RDJ’s return as Dr. Doom. This film is supposedly capping off many unfinished storylines from across the Marvel universe and is set to obtain multiple cameos from many loved cast members across past and present superhero films. Really excited for this one.

WHALEFALl

Whalefall released on the 16th of October is an anticipated film following a boy and his journey through the struggles of being swallowed by a whale. Starring popular casting choice as of late, Austin Abrams, alongside Josh Brolin this film has been on my watch list for quite a while now and I’m excited to see the full vision Brian Duffield has created.

Dune: Part Three

Timothée Chalamet makes his return as Paul Atreides in the trilogy Dune. He must suffer the consequenses of old allies returning under his reign, haunted by visions and his long-lost love. Zendaya costars alongside Robert Pattinson once again in this film and all three of their set chemistry has been delightful in media interviews so I can only imagine how they translate that to the filmmaking process. Denis Villeneuve is always a hit and the sound design on Dune has been one of my favorites since its release.

Clayface

I personally don’t know much about the lore of Clayface as a character, but based on what I’ve seen in trailers and teasers for this movie it looks like a wild ride. Tom Rhys Harries has never really been on my radar before this but boy am I excited for his performance in this movie. Naomi Ackie is brilliant as a supporting role and I’m really thrilled to experience a darker super villain story since the first Joker.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on The Reaping

This is an honorable mention as I’ve never really been a huge Hunger Games person, but my sister pointed the poster out to me when we saw. You Can See Everything and I figured some others may be in the dark as to a new Hunger Games releasing as well. Although if you’re in that space you’re probably well aware. Just wanted to mention it just in case as I may be starting the franchise in preparation for the new release.
